Return to Marrakech
The best months to visit the sahara desert are March, April, May, October and November, during these months the temperature is milder, during the months of December and January the temperature is freezing, therefore sleeping at night can be difficult.
The sahara desert is located in the south of Erfoud, approximately 560 km from Marrakech, we can get you there in under 9 hours.
You will be sleeping in a nomad camp in the middle of the sahara desert, so you can fully experience the nomad life.
Of course, the agafay desert is just 25 km away from Marrakech, this stony desert will surprise you and make you forget the intense atmosphere of Marrakech.
Erg chebbi is more popular, but both Erg Chebbi and Erg Chigaga have high dunes.
Plenty of families have already visited and enjoyed the desert, so yeah, you can visit the Sahara desert with your kids.
Most camps will have electricity in the tents and a place to plug your phone(s), however, you should let us know before the trip that you need electricity and a place to plug your phone(s), so we can put you in the right tent.
People usually visit the desert to relax and to leave the mayhem of the modern world behind, but we can provide you with a wifi connection if you need it.
Don’t worry, you will find plenty of vegetarian menu options.
Take warm clothes with you, we said that before, true, but we can’t stress this enough.
for some odd reason i liked the kasbahs more than the desert, but i’m pleased with the experience
We compared a lot of tour operators online and chose this one. We wanted a private travel. Youssef was very helpful, The camel ride in the desert was unforgettable.
Wow, What a Beautiful Trip
