Itinerary

Day 1

  • 07:00 am Meet your English speaking guide in the lobby: Departure by Vianos passing over whelming Valley and red flat mountains. The scenery soon changes to High Atlas mountains crossing the Tizi N Tich (2260 m.alt),
  • 1h30 after the departure,confort stop.

we will pass Ighrem, Agouime and Amerzgan, Berber Atlas villages, to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. On the way  you enjoy the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, ,(Panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains and the road to the south) As you descend the north-facing slopes, notice the dramatic change in the climate and landscape. You’ll soon begin to cross deep river valleys and see abundant almond and walnut orchards.

After lunch continue crossing the Dades Valley.  First stop will be at Skoura,Visit the Gorges of Todgha which offers beautiful landscapes of fig and almond trees on the banks of the wadi .

Day 2

  • 7:30-9:00 am Breakfast before starting your day.
  • 9:00 am Visit dates market .
  • Visit Fossils factory.
  • Visit Morocco National 4WD museum.
  • 12:30 pm Lunch Local Restaurant included (MADFOUNA)
  • Stop at a Camel camp where you will embark on a camel ride. The camel ride will be dependent upon weather/wind conditions will commence close to sunset or sunrise of day 3
  • Dinner included under tent.

Day 3

Jouney time from Merzouga to Ouarzazate will be approximatly 6 hours

  • 7:00-8:00am Breakfast in the camp. Rise early to be rewarded with a sunrise over the dunes.
  • 9:00am Camel farm for WC and Camel milk tasting ( for those who wan to ), Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chrif.
  • Travel back across the desert to Merzouga, begin your journey to Tinghir, an oasis city at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Consider stopping in the desert community of Rissani before setting out across the plains. There’s a weekly market in town for local farmers who grow figs, dates, and wheat and live in the area’s ksars.
  • 12:30 – 1:30 pm Take some time to relax with a delicious lunch on your own with locals and also use your time afternoon to explore this scenic spot before continuing on.
  • 1:30 pm Continue your road trip through Draa Valley, on the way to Agdaz pass through oasis and kasbahs ruins and continue on to Ouarzazate
  • Arrive in Ouarzazate for overnight stay at Hotel 
  • 7:30pm Dinner included

Day 4Day 4

  • 7:30 – 9:00 am Breakfast at the hotel
  • 9:00 am Morning visit of the town, including the 17th century Taourirt Kasbah, the former residence of the Pacha Glaoui (Provided that these sites are not closed forfilming).
  • Visit Atlas Studio.
  • Visit of the kasbah Ait ben haddou
  • Very beautiful panorama from the pass but it is above all the opportunity to take a break along this magnificent road which links Marrakech to Ouarzazate.
  • Stop for lunch at la Kasbah Restaurant – lunch included
  • Afterwards, continue driving to Marrakech.
  • 5:30 pm Arrive in Marrakech for check-in at hotel

People usually visit the desert to relax and to leave the mayhem of the modern world behind, but we can provide you with a wifi connection if you need it.
